>> Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th September 2023 London <<

We are delighted to invite you to the second ECCITE event which will explore wellbeing and technology in transition education. In a post COVID world how do we navigate technologies we use, the wellbeing we desire and the learning we need?

We see increasing numbers of students struggling with mental health problems.

This hands-on training event will feature keynotes from German, Dutch and English experts together and workshops from practitioners exploring how the twin strands of wellbeing and technology are developing for students in creative education.

There will also be technology experts in mapping and curriculum leaders in the emerging field of Esports offering lectures and practical workshops along with further activities to be announced.

There will be an opportunity to meet and network with other education experts in the field of transition & vocational education. This event will take place from Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th September 2023 across three locations in the heart of London with catering provided.

We want to zoom in on various questions surrounding mental health and the position of creative institutes in transition education. How can the students deal with an increased stress level? What impact will the advancing digitalization have on our students?

SUBSCRIBE before May 31th and join this hands-on training event at three different locations of Morley College in the heart of London!

Meet the speakers

Mirjam Pol was student counsellor at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, the Netherlands. She is currently student counsellor at the Conservatoire of the Amsterdam University of the Arts. Her mission is to discover exactly what is going on with the student and to find out what he or she needs that moment. Ten students with the same question can be helped with ten different solutions. How do you find out? By listening carefully. By discussing together how you can increase your knowledge and insights, so that as a student you can make your own analysis and plan of action.

Mirjam has written sevarl books. Her latest book, titled From Stress to Succes, is the reason for this workshop. She will explain about the body, brain and what to do when experiencing stress.

Prof. Dr. Mark Vetter is a professor at the Technical University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt. VR as technology enhances us to immerse in virtual envi- ronments as representations of our world in 3D-maps.
